Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with David Keil

Session 1:

Creating intention and purpose in the practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Namely, pulling apart and tying back together Tristana Breath, Bandha, and Dristhi. When one practices from the inside out, this practice has the power to transform the individual on many layers. Cultivation of these parts of the practice are crucial for developing a long dedicated practice.

Followed by a half primary series (to Navasana).

Session 2:

In this afternoon class we’ll explore different areas of the practice that challenge us most. Awareness of the structure and function of these areas help us move forward intelligently avoiding injuries and trouble. Bring your own areas for discussion, but by default, we’ll discuss hips and knees, along with the back and spine and of course jump back and jump through.

Session 1: 9 am - 12 pm $50
Session 2: 1 pm - 4 pm $50
Both sessions: $95
Early bird prices through March 6th: $45 for single sessions; $85 for both sessions
